Building the Reverberatory Furnace Building - Part 4

The walls went up on the Reverberatory Furnace Building tonight. The balsa sub-roof is just sitting up there. As with most of the structures in the copper smelting complex, the roof will be covered with corrugated iron to withstand the heat and reduce fire risk.



 Next up - roofing, clerestory and stacks!


You can never have too many clamps! I received these clamps below from Amazon just in time to use them to clamp the printed roof covering sheets in place. They were just over $11.00 for 20 clamps. Strong, straight and with swivel jaw tips, they are definitely a worthwhile purchase!
